Vets and SuperVets Competition Results
Vets and Super Vets Results.
There was good turnout for these competitions from all divisions
Dave Kay reigned supreme again winning both the Vets and Super Vets comps. He beat Joe Gizon 11-5 11-7 11-4
In the Vets. Joe struggled to to master Dave's black dead rubber.
In the Super Vets Dave beat Mark Gleaves 11.7 11.7 11.5
I was most impressed by Joe Gizen's performance in both the Vets and Super Vets comps. He was beaten yet again by Dave Kay in the semi final of the Super Vets.
The competitions were well supported and successful. Alas we could not complete them on the Thursday night therefore, we had only one semi final for the Vets on Monday night.
Several newcomers who have only started playing this year bravely took on the challenge. They commented that they had enjoyed the experience.
