Big Day
The East Lancashire Big Day is nearly upon us. This series of competitions is to be played on Sunday February 11th at Hyndburn Sports Centre.
Send your entries to either myself or Fred Wade at, or you can place your name on the list in the Table Tennis Centre.
We would like as many entries as possible, Please encourage everyone you meet to play
Tables will be available from 9am on the day
Please note. There will be no entries accepted on the day so let us know before Friday 9th February

Closure for repairs to the Table Tennis Centre
Repairs to the flooring have been contracted and it is expected that they might take up to 3 days to complete; the dates for these repairs are Tuesday 13th, 14th, 15th and possibly 16th (if this overruns) of February 2018.
As a consequence of this there will be no table tennis available at the Table Tennis Centre on these dates. All matches will have to be rescheduled. Home teams should contact their opposing teams to ensure that no one is inconvenienced by this closure
Thursday morning practice session will also be affected.

Hard Bat Competition
The “Hard Bat” competition has been postponed until Thursday 22nd March. The League has bought a number of ping pong bats (no rubber just blue sandpaper on both sides) for this competition. If anyone has been watching Ping Pong World Championship on Sky Sports Mix this weekend you will be surprised by the standard of play and what is achievable using these bats.
So take up the challenge
